I hired Jasmine as my midwife for my third pregnancy/birth and let me tell you she was my favorite of all three experiences! (My first baby I had with a now-closed health group in Olympia and my second I had a midwife from much farther south.)
Jasmine is warm, personable, and caring; by my second visit we were friends! She always did an excellent job of explaining any/all procedures that were available and any risks or benefits involved. She encouraged me to listen to my own body and to pay attention to how I felt. (She also came to my house at 5 in the morning for a "false alarm" labor call! Now that's service.)
I had the best birthing experience imaginable with Jasmine and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

During the summer of 2016, I heard a midwife had moved into our area. I had planned to interview her before getting pregnant but things went in the reverse order. The moment I met her, I knew I wanted her as my midwife. While I was pregnant, she always included my two older kids in our monthly appointments as we measured and listened to baby's heartbeat. We even had to buy my daughter her own stethoscope because she wanted to be like Jasmine.
My son was born in April and just like his siblings, he was a few weeks early but she was right there when I needed her. I had the most amazing birth experience in my home. I recovered very quickly and Jasmine gave me the tools I needed to do so. She was always just a call away if I needed anything. In the time I was pregnant, she became a friend and a person our family will forever be grateful for.

Jasmine was my midwife for the birth of my first child and I cannot even say how amazing of a woman she is. She is warm and welcoming in demeanor and instantly made me feel comfortable and cared for when we started our midwife-client relationship. Every home visit was thorough and truly a joy, she always took extra care to answer all of my questions and prepare me for my planned home birth.
When the big day came Jasmine was the biggest comfort and solace through my long labor and made sure everything transitioned smoothly. I'm glad that I chose Jasmine to share the most beautiful day of my life.

Jasmine helped us birth our only child. She came to visit and we knew then that this was how it should be. She was personable, kind and even encouraged the whole family to greater involvement with the growth and birth of our little one.
She was able and willing to answer questions, explain why she thought something would help, and offered real choices to all the ins and outs of testing and symptoms.
When the time came, she helped keep this first time mom calm and following our birth plan. She was there even after the birth to keep us healthy and safe, going well above and beyond expectations.
Jasmine touched our family and gave me the birth experience I wanted. I have recommended her services to friends and I know she is one of the best in her profession.

I felt jasmine was much more then just a midwife, she's like a friend you have known for years. She brings a very comforting vibe to the space. I was very thankful to have her with me during our daughters labor!

This was my third pregnancy, first attempted homebirth. I had never had a midwife and was very unsure of what to expect going into it.
Our first meeting was perfect, I made my choice that evening to have Jasmine and Joy as my midwives. Their presence was pure, gentle and loving. It was exactly what I needed as a pregnant mother, especially one who was attempting her first vbac.
As time went on, we shared laughter, tears, and had some very real moments, I felt like I could open up to them on a heart level, this was something we were never able to do with an OB.
I felt safe in the fact that they truly listened to what we wanted, and felt empowered to do the things I felt needed to happen during my pregnancy. The night I went into labor Jasmine had come out to check on me and ended up staying the night, which provided me more comfort then I could have ever imagined. My water broke that next morning.
Although, in the end, we did transfer to the hospital and delivered via cesarean it was the most healing experience I have ever had in my life. They stayed by my side the entire time, talking to me, holding my hand.
As a midwife I believe Jasmine is extremely knowledgeable, caring and understanding. She listens, provides education and resources but never pushes or forces anything on you. For this we were so grateful.
Our daughter is 7 months old now, it seems as if it were just yesterday that we were still pregnant with her. Thanks to Jasmine and Joy, it will be a time we will always cherish and never forget.

Jasmine was the assistant midwife at my son’s birth and a wonderful resource during my pregnancy, labor, and aftercare as well. She has a calm positive energy that is very comforting in addition to her wealth of knowledge. She was consistently supportive of my birthing choices. During my aftercare she was invaluable as my son and I recovered from an unusual (face presentation) birth and supported our breastfeeding attempts which were successful even though we were both exhausted. I would recommend her to anyone choosing a natural birth with a midwife.

Jasmine is a wonderful, caring midwife who provided me with excellent prenatal, labor, and postpartum care during my pregnancy with my second son. I had my first son in 2009 after a planned homebirth that turned into a hospital transfer after 30 hours of labor. I labored for another 23 hours in the hospital and pushed for 3 hours, but because my son was malpositioned, he was ultimately born by cesarean section. When I became pregnant with my second child, I decided to switch midwives, and Jasmine was part of my new birth team. Even though I ended up with a cesarean when my first child was born, I knew that I wanted to attempt another homebirth for my second child. As I planned my homebirth after cesarean (HBAC), Jasmine was extremely supportive and encouraging. She always welcomed me with hugs, warm smiles, and a gentle sense of humor. During my prenatal visits, Jasmine answered many of my questions, addressed numerous concerns, and she expressed deep confidence in my ability to have a successful HBAC. As I neared the end of my pregnancy, I felt very supported by my birth team and knew that I could count on them regardless of how my child was born. When I did finally go into labor, things progressed exceptionally fast. I woke up to my water breaking at 5:15am. My husband contacted my midwives almost immediately and by the time Jasmine arrived, I was already fully dilated and pushing. My labor was extremely intense and painful, and Jasmine was amazing as she helped me stay calm. At one point during pushing my baby’s heart rate was alarmingly low, so the decision was made to call 911. As we waited for an ambulance to arrive, Jasmine stayed calm and collected, all while helping me to move into positions that helped increase my baby’s heart rate. Finally, we found a good position, and my baby’s heart rate stabilized. I will never forget one instance during an extremely intense pushing contraction, when I grabbed onto Jasmine’s arm and squeezed very hard. When I reached out to Jasmine, she was on the phone relaying information to a 911 dispatcher. At that moment, she immediately dropped the phone in order to support me. At 6:39am, only 1 hour and 24 minutes after my water broke, my second son was born into my midwife’s capable hands, just a couple of minutes before the ambulance arrived. I was so grateful to have had Jasmine as part of my birth team. She was so confident in me and she knew exactly what to do when we had unexpected complications. Jasmine is a wonderful midwife, and I highly recommend her.

I had an un-medicated birth in a hospital and Jasmine was my doula. Jasmine is clearly very skilled, but the thing I appreciate about her the most is that she is wholly committed to the empowerment of the women she cares for. During my pregnancy, she helped me understand my birthing options, and she was supportive of the choices that my husband and I made. She exuded warmth and calm during my labor and delivery, and postpartum as well.
